You Are What Eats You

Play as a tiny parasitic worm, determined to scale the food chain and become the biggest predator there is.

1. Burrow your way into the victim's head!

2. Hijack your victim's nervous system by navigating through a labyrinthine brain!

3. Awkwardly force it to move into dangerous locations!

4. Get eaten!

5. Burrow your way into the new victim's brain, and repeat steps 2-5!

This game was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2024, under the theme "Built To Scale".
We tried to express the theme in several ways:

• You play as a tiny creature controlling a creature much larger then itself (extreme size differences)
• You switch between hosts of increasing size, drastically changing the scale of the player and their environment at each level
• You try to "scale" (climb) throughout the game, both figuratively by controlling increasingly bigger predators higher up in the food chain,
  and literally because in every level you are climbing to reach a higher position ;)
